I love your poem… “Love Begins” but there was no place for comments. It always ends with a tear, or rather, a torrent if tears because there will always be a parting. I sought love my entire youth without realizing this.. now I can’t get it out of my head. Anyhow your poem says it so succinctly… and beautifully.
Well actually, I thought I wrote it. I may have stored it in my mind from somewhere else, or because it was in my early days of blogging, I just did not attribute it to the author. St. Augustin said it with the last word being “teardrop”.
Vice versa?

You mean “starts with a tear”?

I can see how it could begin and end from each end of the spectrum.

I do not understand how it can start at the other end.
Could you explain?

Thanks Ellen, I think the original author was St. Augustin.

Oh, I thought you wrote it. In any case, a monumental truth!
