11-Year Old Yemeni Nada Al-Ahdal Flees Home to Avoid Forced Marriage

In some parts of the world, young girls are forced into marriages by their family. The reasons may be cultural, economic, or something else entirely, but the abrupt end to their childhoods is a devastating experience for many.
When 11 year-old Nada Al-Ahdal was informed that she was to be married, she took matters into her own hands. She fled to her uncle’s home for protection and safety. She says she’d rather kill herself than return to her family and go through with the marriage her family had arranged against her will.

This is too much. NO one should have to be forced to be married as a child or at any age. Dispicable
Children should be children.
