April 8, 2014 is the end-of-support date for Windows XP.
Mainstream Support ended on 14th Feb 2009, the Extended Support will end on 8th April 2014
Using XP offline does not present any problems, but using it online means it will be very difficult to keep secure. It is more of a case of when it gets attacked, as opposed to if it gets attacked.

It is the second most popular operating system. There are a lot of people still using it. Windows 7 is first, and Windows 8 is third.

When I got used to W7, W8 came and still getting used to it but it’s quite similar in certain ways to some iMac operations – so, all cool for me: W8 at work iMac at home now 😀
