It’s true that a person can refuse them, however, they will be charged an extra 30 dollars a month per meter on top of their electricity bill. It’s extortion!
If the UK Government want a smart meter in every home, it will probably happen one way or another.
I watched a debate with a Commons Select Committee, they were not concerned in the least about any adverse effects that these meters have.
