It wasn’t an unexpected decision but I think it will benefit our cause in the long run. 1. I don’t think we would win a referendum in October 2023 and we can’t afford to lose it so a delay for one or two years with the Tories fucking things up really can’t hurt us. 2 Labour in Scotland have been shown to simply want power and have affixed themselves to the Union. They support Westminster. 3. The judge made a clear statement that any referendum could not be considered simply advisory. He stated that any result would be a clear indication of the will of the Scottish Electorate. That statement is almost saying that the result would be binding.
