I care about the plight of refugees and of the homeless
I care about the beauty of the flowers in the garden
and the sun shining on the horizon at dawn
But above all I care about you, because
none of it would matter without
having you in my world, for
my life orbits around
you like the earth
orbits around
the sun.

Lovely poem my friend. The world sure seems to be in short supply of care for one another.

Thank you very much. We live in destructive and divisive times.

You’re very welcome. And yes we sure do, and I’m not sure hope is enough anymore.

When the path for action is closed, the only route open is hope. The emptiest feeling in the world is when you are devoid of hope.

Yes you’re right. But what good is hope if it cannot be turned into action, a fantasy? The world needs to realise the benefits of working together, together as one.

Hope is the last thing left when all else fails, but before that point is reached, it can be used to encourage others. As you said “hope is not enough”, change only comes through action.

It is easy for people to be manipulated by governmental propaganda. Most governments use divide and rule, with the help of the MSM. People hear what they want to hear and shelter their mind from reality.

At the root of the problems in the world, are the greedy power-hungry people. Ordinary people do not want a world full of misery and destruction. There are a lot of good people in the world, but their hearts are being stifled by the minority.

Hope is the last thing left when all else fails, hope that we will, against all odds, come on through to the side of light, and everything will be ok, like it once was how we remembered it. But time will tell if hope rises with the sun. For now we’re all at the mercy of the games the politicians are playing.
