Noun: Holocaust
1. A very large amount of destruction, especially by fire or heat, or the killing of very large numbers of people.
While mass murder continues to be carried out in Gaza, and atrocities are being committed against men, women and children in other parts of Palestine, Happy New Year is not something that I have much enthusiasm for. The attack on Gaza is an attack on humanity.
In my lifetime there has never been anything so immoral and perpetual as the crimes that Zionists have perpetrated against the Palestinians. It started before I was born, and currently continues on a grander scale. Any government, and we all know who, that supports ethnic cleansing and genocide in any way, is complicit in crimes against humanity.
When a friend who lives in the Middle East said to me that Zionists are worse than Nazis, I initially took it as a slight exaggeration. I thought about it, a lot. Then I searched deeper for more information. The more that I looked, the more atrocities I found. The more I found, the more disturbed I became. They are worse than the Nazis, but people in the West do not have that awareness, because we are deliberately shielded from it. Some of it is now beginning to come into the light, but it is only the tip of the iceberg.
Anyone who supports or defends ethnic cleansing or genocide, cannot possibly be considered to be a normal member of society in my eyes. Mass murder is indefensible. Children in Israel are indoctrinated at a young age to normalise genocide.
Israel’s public broadcaster, “Kan”, uploaded a video on Twitter, of Israeli children singing a song, celebrating their country’s ongoing genocide of Palestinians in Gaza. Understandably, it was not received well, and had to be deleted.
Persistent dehumanising descriptions of Palestinians, have been instilled into generations of Israelis. No child is born racist. They are taught to hate. Seeing videos of adult Israelis on social media singing, dancing and mocking the death of Palestinian children, is like witnessing a sickness that is so deranged, that it does not have a name for it yet.
While the main focus is on Gaza, Israel settler violence has been increasing in the West Bank, causing hundreds of Palestinians to flee their homes in recent weeks.
Israeli Settlers: State sponsored terrorists who can commit heinous crimes with impunity. Very often they are accompanied and supported by the Israeli security forces.
Imagine a bunch of thugs with guns coming down your street, with the police behind them for backup, telling you to move out of your home, or you will be shot. It is easier to imagine this scenario in Nazi Germany.
Security forces kicking in doors in the middle of night in Palestine, and taking the occupants to prison, is something that the Gestapo did in Nazi Germany. Abductions are a common occurrence in Palestine. I am not making comparisons; I am merely pointing out similarities. It is pointless comparing evil with evil.
Israel regularly bombs Syria and Lebanon.
“But Hamas…”
“Israel has the right to defend itself…”

Thank you for flagging Ronnie , it’s hard to believe when you hear it the first time and if Gaza war didn’t happen, I don’t think you would have ever believed. There are no advantages for wars, but despite the atrocities, there is one good thing, that the entire world is seeing the real face of the Zionists and this cannot be undone. Even if the decision makers are jerks and complicit, the world population is very aware of Israel genocides and ethnic cleansing, and all atrocities. This is extremely important and things will never be the same for Israel. I just pray for the Gaziens and Palestinians because what is happening to them is beyond awful and they are left alone to die.

Any colonialism by its very nature is brutal, but it is often glossed over to make it seem acceptable. As in war, so it is with colonialism, that the first causality is the truth. The atrocities, to a great extent are often hidden. The cruelty of the British Empire was overshadowed by its glorification. Many people in the UK are ignorant of the atrocities committed by the British Empire.
Historically, colonial powers justified their conquests by claiming they had a legal and religious obligation to control the land, and culture of indigenous peoples. Death and destruction in the name of religion. Without the internet, people around with world would only have a distorted version of what is happening in the Middle East.
