Alone with my thoughts
I can hear the screams
Piercing through the silence
Of my dark and troubled mind
I am living in a world
Where a terrorist state
Can freely slaughter
Men women and children
My world can never be the same again
I cannot forgive and I will not forget
Those who remained silent or supported
The torture and butchering of the innocent
Crimes against humanity are crimes against us all.
When malevolence goes unfettered, it spreads to unexpected places.
